Cat's Eye Nebula in felt and stitch

 Sandra decided she was going to have a go at recreating a nebula based on one of those wonderful photographs sent back from space.

The picture above is before stitching. It was made with wool silk and angelina felted together

This picture is after a small amount of stitching as Sandra said she did not want to cover up the lovely swirls of the felt.
