This is the blog of South Lakeland Stitchers. We are a new stitching group formed from North Lonsdale branch E.G. and Kendal branch E.G. plus new members from the locality. We enjoy stitching in all its forms and meet together once a month to share our hobby. We range from members who are learning to stitch to experienced stitchers and there is a wealth of knowledge and expertise to share with beginners.
Our Group took part in the Open Day at Barton village hall where we had a couple of display tables. We exhibited some of our work, books for sale, bargain box and kits for sale to make an "Embroidery on a Twig."
The hall was well attended and visitors seemed to have a good day.

The first part of the morning will be taken up with the AGM. Once the AGM has finished we will hold a shorter than usual stitching session ...
