This is the blog of South Lakeland Stitchers. We are a new stitching group formed from North Lonsdale branch E.G. and Kendal branch E.G. plus new members from the locality. We enjoy stitching in all its forms and meet together once a month to share our hobby. We range from members who are learning to stitch to experienced stitchers and there is a wealth of knowledge and expertise to share with beginners.

Three Corner Taster Sessions - June Meeting 2023
This month we had a slightly different arrangement with 3 corners offering different skills/techniques to try, with the groups revolving so every member had a chance to have a taster session of each skill/technique.
The 1st corner offered bondaweb and tyvek led by Thelma Todd.
The 3rd group was led by Fran Walker and offered Circles.
Everyone really enjoyed the day and left with very interesting pieces of work.
A big thank you goes to SueT., Thelma and Fran for organising their corners and offering their particular skills/techniques for members to try.
